Mentoring Event at SATELLITE 2015 for YPs
Save the date for the 18th March in Washington DC! SGAC has partnered for the second year with the world's premier event in satellite communications to bring a high-level mentoring programme to this annual conference!
Young professionals and students are given the opportunity to build connections among students, early stage professionals, and experienced mentors in the satellite industry. SGAC will host a Speed Mentoring Event, where you will have the opportunity to share a table with top company representatives and any questions, seek advice, and get to know some of the personal experiences which shaped their professional careers.
This event is energizing for both the young space professionals as well as the senior mentors, providing both groups with a unique networking opportunity. In its first year, the Speed Mentoring Event attracted many SGAC members to hear advice, listen to and share experiences with senior level members of the public and private sectors, as well as with one another. We expect even greater participation at this year’s event.
Immediately following the Mentoring Event, all the participants will be invited to the SATELLITE 2015 Awards Celebration and Reception, from 6 to 8pm, where they will be able to network with the rest of the conference participants. All participants to the Mentoring Event will have access to the Exhibition Area, where they will be able to visit all the booths of the main industry and organisations on the sector, one of the biggest of this kind.
