To assist with your planning and participation, this page gathers useful information about SG[Greece]. Here, you will find out what you need to know about the workshop, how to connect with other delegates, and important information about Athens.

What do I need to know about SG[Greece]?

SG[Greece] will take place on Saturday, 18 February 2017 at si-Cluster's "α2-innohub" in Marousi. This venue has all the facilities to cover the workshop needs - both plenary talks and round-table discussions - and it is located at the crossroads of two main roads in northern Athens, Kifisias Avenue and Attiki Odos.

A public outreach talk by Dr. Stamatios Krimizis, principal investigator of several NASA missions, ESA Astronaut Luca Parmitano and ESA Exomars engineer Pantelis Poulakis will open the proceedings on 17 February at 18:30 in the main auditorium of the Eugenides Foundation.

The official SG[Greece] closing reception will take place on Saturday, 18 February, after the guided visit to the National Observatory of Athens, both included in your registration fee. The detailed workshop schedule is found here.

What do I need to bring to SG[Greece]?

You may want to consider bringing with you a laptop computer. This is recommended, but not essential as delegates will be working on a short presentation together with all members of the same working group. You will meet fellow delegates, young professionals as well as experts from the space industry; business cards will help with networking.

Please remember that the most important thing to bring is enthusiasm and a positive attitude. SG[Greece] is a wonderful opportunity to meet and work with like-minded people and contribute meaningfully to improve the prospects of Greece in space.

How can I connect with fellow delegates?

SG[Greece] has a dedicated Facebook page while news as well as scholarship information are posted regulalry on the official SGAC website, SGAC Facebook page and SGAC Twitter Account. Please regularly check these forums, as well as this webpage for the latest updates regarding the workshop.
