The Space Generation Advisory Council is a global non-governmental, non-profit (US 501(c)3) organisation and network which aims to represent university students and young space professionals to the United Nations, space agencies, industry, and academia.

SGAC is proud to announce the Bucharest (Romania) will host the 3rd European Space Generation Workshop (3rd E-SGW) in the first part of 2018.

The 3nd E-SGW is a two-day regional workshop for students and young professionals in the European region.

The organising team will is led by Alexandra Jercaianu as Event Manager and Corina Stiubei as Co-Event Manager.

Alexandra Jercaianu – Event Manager


AlexandraAn International Security Master’s degree graduate from SciencesPo Paris, Alexandra joined the space sector in 2015 when she took up the position of Project Administration at Eurisy, an association of space agencies tasked with raising awareness on the benefits of satellite-based services for society.

With more than 3 years of experience in managing events, she worked on the organisation of the 9th World Chambers Congress, ICC’s flagship event gathering more than 1,000 chamber representatives from 110 countries.  In preparation of the event, she coordinated the programme’s 27 sessions and 144 speakers on subjects ranging from trade and migration to entrepreneurship, SME finance and labour mobility, to name  a few.

 

Corina Stiubei – Deputy Event Manager


CorinaAs of August 2013 Corina has been National Point of Contact for Romania at SGAC, position which enabled her to join the European Space Expo team as local support and booking coordinator for schools in Craiova and Dolj County (Romania).

Prior to obtaining an Aviation Management Master’s degree from FH JOANNEUM – University of Applied Sciences, Graz, Austria, Corina had been working in space consultancy field in Belgium.

To enhance both her leadership competences and her team-player qualities, Corina became the Project Manager for European Space Expo in The Hague, Netherlands, time during which she acted as an interface between the EU Institutions and the public.
