SGAC is pleased to announce the winners of the Space Safety Competition, which was prepared by SGAC in cooperation with the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety (IAASS).
The competition challenged young professionals to submit an abstract for a technical paper about one of several space safety topics.

Here is a summary of the 5th annual Space Generation Fusion Forum (SGFF), which brought together young professionals and established space leaders from around the world at Broadmoor’s Cheyenne Lodge in Colorado Springs, kicking off a week of space activities in conjunction with the Space Foundation’s 32nd Space Symposium. The event is organised by the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) with an international team of volunteers.

With the recent growth of SGAC and our increased presence at the Space Symposium and International Astronautical Congress and beyond, SGAC is opening a volunteer position in the Executive Office for a Coordinator of the PR and Communications Team. This position is a key leadership role within the SGAC, providing assistance, direction, and management to the PR and Communications Team.

SGAC announced during Fusion Forum the winner of the SGFF MVP: Kristin Shahady (USA), who will attend the 2017 AIAA SciTech Forum held at Gaylord Texan, Texas.
