SGAC held elections in Europe and South America to select a new Regional Coordinator for these regions. We are proud to announce:
- Joao Lousada (Portugal) as the new Regional Coordinator for Europe
- Natalia Vargas (Bolivia) as the new Regional Coordinator for South America

On Wednesday, 5 April 2017, during the opening of the third day of the 33rd Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, SGAC had the honor of presenting the Space Foundation with an SGAC flag flown in space to commemorate their long term support of our organization. This flag was one of 25 SGAC flags flows on the Orion EFT-1 mission in 2014, thanks to the support of Lockheed Martin.
