SGAC welcomes Brian Ramos (USA) as one of its Project Coordinators. Brian will be joining Ana Raposo (Portugal) in the coordination of different project groups. Brian will be replacing Jamie Favors (USA), who SGAC would also like to thank for his work and dedication during the past few years.

SGAC is looking for volunteers to help in the organisation of the 2nd European Space Generation Workshop in Paris, France.

The 2nd European Space Generation Workshop (E-SGW) is a two-day regional workshop for students and young professionals in the European region. The date of the workshop is 24-25 March 2017 and the host city is Paris, France. It will be held in conjunction the IAF Spring Meeting taking place every year in mid/end of March in Paris and gathering around 300 people.

The 14th annual Space Generation Congress was successfully held in Jerusalem, Israel in 2015. Organised by a dedicated international team of volunteers from the Space Generation Advisory Council, the Congress welcomed a diverse representation of delegates from an array of countries and regions. 126 delegates were invited to participate at SGC 2015, together with 13 speakers and 12 Subject Matter Experts. SGC 2015 attendees came from more than 44 countries across six continents. This diversity is a major contributor to the development of a truly international voice of the space generation that SGAC strives to represent.

Technical paper competitions open to SGAC members

SGAC is pleased to announce that the call for technical paper competitions and scholarships are now open. Through SGAC partnerships with academic, industry and agencies around the world, we aim to provide opportunities for SGAC members to attend the 15th Space Generation Congress (SGC) and 67th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Guadalajara, Mexico.
