5 May 2017

On Wednesday, 5 April 2017, during the opening of the third day of the 33rd Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, SGAC had the honor of presenting the Space Foundation with an SGAC flag flown in space to commemorate their long term support of our organization. This flag was one of 25 SGAC flags flows on the Orion EFT-1 mission in 2014, thanks to the support of Lockheed Martin.

SGAC has formed a strong and long term partnership with the Space Foundation, holding the annual Space Generation Fusion Forum in conjunction with the Space Symposium for the past 6 years. In addition, Space Foundation has supported many of the SGAC activities during the past few years.

To celebrate this long term collaboration, and recognize the dedication of the Space Foundation in mentoring the next generation of space sector leaders, SGAC presented Space Foundation with one of our flags flown in space.

SGAC wishes to thank Space Foundation for their continued support, and looks forward to many more years of collaboration to come!
