SGAC along with the The International Astronautical Federation’s (IAF) Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee (EIC) is pleased to announce the winner of the $pace is Business Competition 2017. The competition enables one outstanding SGAC member to attend the 16th Space Generation Congress and the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, Australia.

The winner is:
Graham Johnson graduated from Cambridge University in 2006 with a Masters degree in Engineering. He spent one year in the car industry, before pursuing his real dream of working in the space industry. In 2007, he joined Airbus Defence & Space, first working on antenna mechanical design, and then as a thermal engineer in the science and exploration division. He has worked on a number of major ESA programmes including BepiColombo, LISA Pathfinder and SWARM.
In 2014, Graham moved to Inmarsat where he now works in the Spacecraft Procurement group as a customer resident at the manufacturer site. He is responsible for reviewing all aspects of the spacecraft platform to ensure that it meets all technical and schedule requirements.
