SGAC is seeking a Legal Counsel Team Lead

With the increasing number of international partnerships and agreements SGAC is engaged with both industry, academia, and government/non-governmental organisations, it has become necessary to have additional expertise within the Executive Office to review documents of the legally-binding nature that would impact the organisation for years to come. SGAC is seeking 1 volunteer member with hands-on expertise with legal contracts and Memorandums, with possible opportunities for an additional 1-2 volunteers to provide support to the team.

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) has selected the topic “The Moon – A Continent and a Gateway for our Future” as the 66th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) Plenary 7 to be held on Thursday 15th October 2015 (13:30-14:30) in Jerusalem, Israel.

The winner of the competition will be invited to attend the International Astronautical Congress in Jerusalem to represent the voice of the next generation as a panelist at the IAC Plenary 7. The panel will be moderated by Prof. Bernard Foing (ESA/ESTEC & ILEWG Executive Director) and you will join the distinguished panel including 3 heads of agencies/programmes and a representative of lunar commercial initiatives.
