SGAC USA
Welcome to the United States country page for the Space Generation Advisory Council! There are many organisations dedicated to space and space exploration in the United States, such as the National Space Society, Planetary Society, and a handful of others, but SGAC provides a different outlook. SGAC not only helps university students and young professionals to link up within the domestic young space community, but SGAC also provides a unique inlet into the international young space community. SGAC is here to help you build your international space network, offer you leadership opportunities, and give you a voice at the United Nations, at space agencies, at academic institutions, and in industry. We hope you join us!
Young Space Activities Overview in the United States
As the future of American space activities is still not clearly determined, now is an important time to build the network, voice and leadership skills of the next generation of space leaders. SGAC in the United States has been building up a foundation increased activities over the past few years. This has been seen through its growing relationships with US organisations including the Space Foundation, NASA, and Lockheed Martin. In addition to SGAC, there are many events and activities available to young professionals and advanced students via the National Space Society, the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS-US), and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
