E-SGW and the SGAC

With the successes of the SGAC’s annual conferences focusing on global deliberations (Space Generation Congress, SGC and Space Generation Fusion Forum, SGFF), the need to develop a regional workshop with the primary aim of discussing regional space initiatives and activities have become increasingly important. SGAC therefore launch its regional workshop series, the Space Generation Workshops. Thus far, SGAC has successfully hosted the 1st Asia-Pacific Space Generation Workshop (AP-SGW) and 1st South American Space Generation Workshop (SA-SGW), held in conjunction with APRSAF and 8th CATE respectively. Plans for the 1st Africa-Space Generation Workshop, and 2nd AP-SGW are already underway.

With the increased interest and support from students, young professionals, space agencies, universities and companies in the European region, it was proposed to hold the 1st European Space Generation Workshop (E-SGW) in early 2016.
