tri-fold brochure

A slimmed version of the starters pack is a brochure.

I stumbled upon an old version (July 2001!) which is
actually still pretty good, it needs a bit of updating:

Unless our objectives have changed seriously of course.....

Any thoughts?

Hi, Jim, etc;

I've been working on the NA/SA newsletter and have had limited success contacting people (not sure if my email is being targeted as spam). I reworked the prototype for the newsletter to accommodate the Tri-Fold Brochure information and posted it in the file share for the PR Team. I don't know if it is something you could use, or not, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Obviously, this would be expensive to print, so if it is necessary to have a printable version, it wouldn't take me very long at all to convert it to a readable black and white copy. There are a few blank spots where my info was sketchy, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

email

If you can send me the email you'd like sent to the N. American/S. American RCs/NPoCs, I can get an officer to forward an email to the appropriate people, and they'll definitely see it if they're active at all.

I just moved across the country and started a new job at NASA-Ames (involving 12 hrs a day of Yuri's Night planning [www.worldspaceparty.com]) during last week, so I've been monitoring the forums from afar for a few weeks. I'm settling in now and will be very active again.

If there's work being done by anyone on the newsletter *please* state what you're doing in the newsletter forum. Three people from SGAC have been working on templates in which the layout editor fill it out and place text each month. Several of these people had been doing stuff before we had a PR team, and we need to let them know if people are doing things on that front from the team so we're not doing redundant things with our limited people-hours.

Also, I didn't make a forum for the tri-fold because I'd made one already, too, and no one had expressed interest in it in the actual "what you're interested in doing" intro forum. I'd done some preliminary checks of the text with some of the SGAC executive committee to approve text/graphics/etc and get input. I can post that when I get into my other (still packed) computer again.

Thank you for putting in the work, though! Please just keep the forum up to date on what you're doing so we don't have several parallel redundant tracks!

Jim,

Jim, I'd like to say "No more random new forums unless there is a priority task that SGAC would like us to do." If people have time, we'd like them to work on the newsletter, video, and (for RCs/NPoCs) the start-up pack (Agneiska mentioned calling it "SGAC 101") as priority products on which to get good work done before SGC. If you want to suggest something else, please don't sporadically start a new forum unless it's something *you* want to *work* on now.

In fact, I started a forum topic just for your (and other peoples'!) ideas:
"Other SGAC PR Team product ideas"
http://www.spacegeneration.org/index.php?q=node/228

That way you can get them out there if you don't want to work on them, but we don't have to have eighty new forums topics.

Please post them there rather than making new forum topics.

tri-fold development

Thank you Marci! You rock!

Here's my tri-fold from a couple months ago...

There's a bit of text missing, and the pink definitely doesn't need to be pink, but this is what I had been working on for the pamphlet (I learned my lesson with the sponsor book that having colored backgrounds makes things much harder for people to print on their own...).

I'm up for comments!

I like your version of the brochure better! I was thinking it might be helpful (for attention-holding purposes) to break up the inside of the brochure with a few headlines, or some more bold font.
