SGAC Organisational Structure
SGAC is composed of National Points of Contact (NPoCs). We strive to have NPoCs in each United Nations member state. The NPoCs are grouped in to six geographic regions (Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, North America and South America) as shown below.
The NPoCs in each region elect two Regional Co-ordinators RCs) that, well the name says it already, co-ordinate SGAC activities within that region.
The day to day activities of the Space Generation Advisory Council are governed by an Executive Committee (EC) comprised of a Chairperson, Co-Chairperson, the 12 Regional Co-ordinators from the 6 world regions. The EC is supported by the Executive Office and the Board of Advisors.
The SGAC Executive meets online or by tele-conference every 2 weeks.
The SGAC Executive is supported by a Board of Advisors and an Honorary Board.
