An invitation for international conference in commemoration of 50 years of Space Age

The Committee on Space Research of Polish Academy of Sciences and the Warsaw University of Technology jointly arrange a conference to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Space Age. Space Generation Advisory Council has established cooperation with the organizers and thus would like to draw your attention to this excellent event.

The celebrations of 50th anniversary of Space Age beginning are divided into to two days of activities: the first - official one and the second- student one. The first day will be fullfiled with prelections of many distinguished guests and the second one - with competitions and students' presentations.

Shannon W. Lucid - American astronaut.
Gerard Brachet - Chairman of Committee on Peaceful Use of Outer Space (UN).
Victor Ashe - U.S. Ambassador in Poland.

Mirosław Hermaszewski - The first Polish astronaut.
Michał Kleiber - President of Polish Academy of Sciences.
