I would like to first welcome you to this workshop. Making the arguments as to why a human presence on the moon and Mars is neccessary is not an easy task, and I hope you welcome this challenge. This project had a successful outcome during the 2006 Space Generation Congress. In fact, it caught the attention of the Planetary Society, and this year, we will be working in tandem with them. Thanks again for your enthusiasm, I look forward to working with you.

Greetings

This workshop looks to be quite intriguing. I certainly hope it is as challenging as you make it sound as that is part of the joy of the debate. And unless you managed to get all the good arguments hashed out last year It'll be a pleasure to work on.
