Bio

Maryam is a volunteer at Department of Astronomy & Space Sciences, Kuwait Science Club (www.astronomy.ksclub.org) as a supervisor working on space education and public outreach programs. She is SGAC Middle East Regional Coordinator and SEDS-Earth Point of Contact for Middle East. She coordinated outreach activities in Kuwait such as World Space Week, Yuri's Night and a Telebridge Contact with International Space Station for students. She holds a license in amateur radio which she enjoys satellite communications. For 10 months she studied Russian language in St. Petersburg, Russia. She aims to increase space awareness in Kuwait and inspire young people.
