Bio
Hello everyone, here's a little information about me:
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I grew up passionated by arts and sciences, I've always like to draw, invent and create things by my own and later on I decided to become an engineer.
I studied Mechanical Engineering at the Simón Bolívar University in Caracas and coursed my last year at the INSA Lyon as a international exchange student.
During my career I was very focused on robotics, CAD/CAE, numerical simulation and design. I joined the USB chapter of ASME where I participated in several Student Design Contest focused in robotics applications. Later on I decided to go far beyond and develop myself in the area I like the most: Aerospace Robotics and Automation, so I joined the CLES FACIL rocketry club of the INSA Lyon, and we developed a roll-control automated system for a sounding rocket which was recognized by the CNES as an innovation and best quality experimental rocket of the year. During my year abroad, some friends and I decided to join the SSETI/ESA missions for students, and we developed the ESMO (European Student Moon Orbiter) mechanisms. The mission will be launched in 2011 if everything goes as it will!.
I've been sponsored by ESA and EADS to assist international space technology conferences, and by CNES to assist several space workshops in France.
I have other stuff to say as well, but that's the main basics and the brief thing.
Now I focuse my interest in enterpreunership, artificial inteligence and automated systems engineering, going from robotic agents until finance.
I'm now deciding wether I will pursuit a PhD, or go to industry.
Have a great time and join us at SGAC Latin, we have a hard way to go down here with space.
Cheers
