SGAC-SSPI Essay competition to attend SGx2020 and SSPI Hall of Fame Ceremony

The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), the Future Space Leaders Foundation (FSLF), SATELLITE,  organizers of the SGx2020, have joined forces with Space & Satellite Professionals Internationals (SSPI) to bring one person to attend the SGx2020 on March 9, providing complimentary entrance to SATELLITE on March 10 and an invitation to the SSPI Space & Satellite Hall of Fame Celebration at SATELLITE. SGx and SSPI activities during SATELLITE are hosted in Washington, DC, USA, on 9-10 March 2020.

National Academies Early Career Program for Space Science Week 2020

The Space Studies Board (SSB) of The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will be hosting an Early Career Program during the 2020 Space Science Week taking place on March 31 - April 2, 2020, in Washington, DC.  The Space Studies Board of the National Academies of Sciences will be partnering with the Space Generation Advisory Council to select two SGAC members to attend Space Science Week. 

Member of the Month for December 2019: Pilar Guerrero Gallarín

Pilar Guerrero Gallarín (22/08/1991) graduated from Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros of Seville as an Aeronautical engineer and from École Centrale Paris as Centrale’s engineer major in Mechanics, Aeronautics and Space in 2015.

NASA SCaN Scholarship @ SpaceOps2020

The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) has partnered with NASA Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program to allow 2 U.S. students to attend the Students and Young Professionals Program (SYP) organized by SGAC and SpaceOps Committee at the 16th Conference on Space Operations (SpaceOps) as well as the Conference itself, hosted in Cape Town, South Africa from May 17 to May 22, 2020, by the South African National Space Agency (SANSA).

Are you a professional space enthusiastic photographer or a passionate hobby photographer? Yes? Then this scholarship is for you. SGAC is looking for an Event Photographer to capture the activities during the 9th Space Generation Fusion Forum (March 28 – 30). The successful applicant will be able to attend the SGFF 2020 and will be granted free access to the 36th Space Symposium (March 30 - April 02)  in Colorado Springs, USA.

Announcement of the 3 SGAC Pioneer Awardees of 2019

In 2018, SGAC decided to create a new award to recognize those who truly go above and beyond in their work for our organization. The award was named “Pioneer” to reflect the innovative and adventurous spirit of SGAC, and the recipients are those select few who personify the values of our organization and have consistently gone above and beyond in fulfilling our mission. In 2019, three exceptional members received this distinction in recognition of their dedication and contribution to SGAC over the past few years and months.
