SGAC is delighted and honoured to be awarded the IAF Excellence in 3G Diversity Award for 2018. The award is intended to recognize IAF member organisations (industry, government, academia) worldwide for outstanding contributions to the fostering of “3G” (Geography, Generation, Gender) Diversity within the space sector. It is an annual award presented at the IAC, but is given only when nominations of exceptional merit are received.
The 8th Space Generation Fusion Forum will take place in Colorado Springs, USA from 7th - 8th April, 2019 in conjunction with the 35th Space Symposium hosted by the Space Foundation. SGAC is expanding, and the organisation is looking for a professionally qualified young space leader to join SGAC as the SGFF Deputy Manager for next year's Space Generation Fusion Forum.

This innovative team is created in response to the tremendous volume of data our organisation handle. The Space Generation Leadership Award enables five outstanding SGAC members to attend the 17th Space Generation Congress and the 69th International Astronautical Congress in Bremen, Germany. SGAC held elections in May to elect the next Regional Coordinator (RC) in the European Region. SGAC is looking for a Membership Co-Manager to join our executive office. This position is in charge of compiling membership statistics, and providing insights on the membership base of SGAC to help determine the growth of our organisation, and to shape the SGAC annual strategy.
With the increasing number of international partnerships and agreements SGAC is forming with industry, academia, government, and non-governmental organisations, it has become necessary to have additional expertise within the Executive Office to review legal documents that would impact the organisation for years to come. SGAC is seeking volunteer members with expertise in legal contracts and memoranda to join our legal team.
