The Inaugural SG[ASEAN]

The inaugural Space Generation [ASEAN] is a one-day regional workshop for university students and young professionals in the ASEAN region. It is held in Singapore in conjunction with the 10th Global Space and Technology Convention (GSTC).
SG[ASEAN] aims to become an annual platform for the next generation of space leaders in the ASEAN region to discuss issues pertinent to the rapidly developing region. The Organising Team anticipates participation of up to 40 delegates who will represent a majority of the ten ASEAN countries.

- The registration fee has to be paid as a confirmation of attendance from the delegate when he/she receives an acceptance email from the Organising Team.
- The registration covers 2 tea breaks, 1 lunch, and an optional cocktail networking session as part of the GSTC welcome reception. The delegate should cover by themselves – accommodation, airfare, visa fees, travel to and from the venue and other personal expenses.

Global Space and Technology Convention (GSTC): The Organising Team anticipates that there may be sponsorship awards available to SGA delegates who apply in time. Details will be shared with delegates in the acceptance email from the Organising Team.
Space for Diplomacy, Law and Policy: ASEAN Inclusive Roadmap for Space
Focus area: How can ASEAN better coordinate its space infrastructure and resources to achieve outcomes (e.g. security surveillance, disaster management)?
Space for Societal Benefit and Education: Citizens’ Role in Development of Space Tech
Focus area: How can ASEAN citizens better understand space tech and contribute to the development and enhancement of space tech.
Space for Commerce and Industry: The Future ASEAN Space Economy
Focus areas: How would ASEAN’s space economy shape up in the future and what are concrete steps to take towards that direction.
