Herman AKAGLA is a young Togolese student and the national point of contact for the SGAC(Space Generation Advisory Council) in Togo. He is currently enrolled in the International Master program in Physics, Photonics and Nanotechnology(PPN) at the University of Burgundy(Dijon-France). He has been awarded the Togolese government fellowship in order to research on the "Applications of Nanotechnology in Space Science" in the future. Furthermore, Herman AKAGLA holds a master's degree in mathematical sciences at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences(Next Einstein Initiative) and his bachelor's degree in physics at the University of Lome. In addition to his academic interests, Herman has taught physics in scientific high school for 2 years. Moreover, as NPoC of Togo, he organized many events including the International Day of Human Space Flight in Togo. He also represented his country during several international conferences, workshops, and summer school worldwide.

Anamol Mittal is an aerospace engineering graduate currently working on a research project focused on extraction and utilization of resources present on the lunar surface. He has led the organizing team of First National Space Meet of Nepal in 2018 which was mainly focused on establishing a space agency in the country. During his undergraduate studies, he has also led the establishment of first-ever space club of his University and served as the President of the club for 3 years. He was selected to work as a fully sponsored research intern in two organizations namely; ENSMM, France, and Space Physics Laboratory during which he has worked on topics related to space sciences and advanced structural composites. Biography:

Since 2013 Christian Bach works as a research associate for the Institute of Aerospace Engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. Responsible for all chemical propulsion and rocketry related activities, he manages the project SMART, in which undergraduate students develop their own liquid-fuelled sounding rocket. In 2016, Christian started to give lectures, among others in the fields of space transportation and space exploration. In the same year he has been appointed as occupational health and safety officer at the Chair of Space Systems. In parallel he is a Ph.D. candidate in the research group for Space Propulsion and Advanced Concepts, in which he is working on novel thrust vector control methods for advanced nozzles. He published a total of 18 journal and conference papers. One of them resulted from his participation in the SGAC, where he is an active member since 2015. Christian has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Laura currently works as Aerospace Engineering Researcher at FOTEC, in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. She concluded her Ph.D. in Space Sciences, Technologies and Measurements at the Center of Studies and Activities for Space of the University of Padova (Italy) in 2018. Her research topic focused on the dynamics and control of flexible structures for space applications. She pursued her Master's and Bachelor’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering in 2014 and 2011 at the same University. Biography:

My name is Marie, and I'm currently doing my PhD at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. My focus is on calibration and characterization of hyperspectral imagers to be used in drones and small satellites. At NTNU I'm specifically working on our imager that will be the payload on a cubesat called HYPSO (Hyperspectral Survaillance of the Ocean), that will investigate algae blooms and other oceanographic phenomena along the Norwegian coastline.

I finished my M.Sc. in Cybernetics and Robotics at NTNU in June 2019. In the spring of 2018 I spent a semester at UNIS in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where I studied ionospheric physics and radar diagnostics of space plasma. The courses included fieldwork at the Kjell Henriksen Observatory (KHO) and the EISCAT Svalbard Radar (ESR). The following summer I had an internship at Andøya Space Center, working on a cloud detection system for the ALOMAR observatory.

Biography:

I am a Ph.D. researcher in intellectual property law currently based at the Queen Mary University of London and Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. My interest in "law in new technologies" has drawn me to the area of space law and policy, in which I have been active since 2013. After having participated in Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition in 2014 and winning the European Centre's for Space Law (ECSL) essay competition, I became a member of SGAC and subsequently an NPoC for Slovakia in April 2016. As a member of ECSL I have participated in events such as ECSL Summer School on Space Law and Policy, ECSL Practitioners' Forum as well as Young Lawyers Symposium and published in the areas of space mining and satellite on-orbit servicing. SGAC activities in Slovakia are interlinked with Slovak Space Policy Association (SSPA, a think-tank of experts in space law and policy), promoting space law and policy in general public.

I've also worked on the first ever Jordanian satellite (JY1SAT), which is now in orbit. I'm from Jordan and studied electronics and communications at the University of Jordan. Camilo is a Mechanical Engineer from Colombia. Secretary and Point of Contact of The Mars Society Latinoamerica Chapter and current member of the Peruvian Association of Astrobiology. He was chosen to participate in the Caltech Space Challenge 2019, designing a mission to probe one of the biggest moons of Saturn, Enceladus, for the presence of life.

He has been two times a crewmember at the Mars Desert Research Station, working with extremophile organisms. He did an internship during the winter of 2018 and during the winter of 2019, he got the opportunity to work as Assistant Director at MDRS, managing the campus program, training incoming researchers and student. In addition, he oversees the Internship Program and the Entrepreneurship Group at MDRS.
