After graduating from a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics, Romain has joined London Economics’ Space team as an Economic Analyst in early January 2018. His recent work focussed the evaluation of socio-economic benefits of space resources utilisation. He also worked on the deep space communication for what he did researches and forecasts about the market saturation.
Prior to moving to London Economics, as part of his studies, Romain realised an internship at the European Space Agency within the Clean Space department (TEC). There, he wrote a Master Thesis entitled: “A Valuation Framework for the Orbital Resource”. The thesis explores potential methodologies, generally used in the economic literature to value natural resources and how they could be applied to the orbital resource. It also focuses on the development of an index to rank space debris according several characteristics.
He's deep passion for space come from as far as he can remember. He spends loads of hours reading and watching scientific documentaries, presentations and other news about space and physics. He is very happy to be part of the big SGAC familly and wish to meet as many of you as possible.
Fabio Fabozzi is born on 19th September 1991 in Aversa(CE). He had a passion for astronomy and stars since he was a child. He graduated both BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering at University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. He worked as control engineer for the EDRS-C satellite at OHB-System (Bremen, Germany) during his MSc thesis time. Furthermore, he got a grant for attending II Level Master in Satellite and Space services at University of Rome La Sapienza. He also participated ah Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program (SH-SSP18) organized by International Space University at University of South Australia Adelaide. At last but not least, he attended different summer schools and workshops related to the space field (such as the Alpbach Summer School). He worked as software engineer for the Galileo system at Vitrociset (Rome, Italy) for more than one year, and at the moment he is going to start a doctoral program.
Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. Born and raised in Costa Rica. With more than 6 years of experience in cleanroom environments manufacturing procedures (electronics and medical devices). Interested in space systems: nanosatellites, space exploration and robotics.
Ionut is a self-proclaimed legal warrior with expertise in a varied pool of activities, including experience in multinational companies and non-governmental organizations that specialize in IT&C, civil rights and social action.
When he is not at work, he likes to travel and discover new places as well as reading about foreign policy and space.
