Number of participants is limited. Reduced participant fees (of 150 ILS) for the Ilan Ramon International Space Conference will be given to the SGxIsrael participants.

The first SGxIsrael, the Space Generation workshop for students and young professionals, is organised in collaboration with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), the Israel Space Agency, and the Fisher Institute for Air & Space Strategic Studies. This workshop will be held in conjunction with the Ilan Ramon International Space Conference.

SGxIsrael 2016 will focus on issues related to small satellites, with particular attention on their need for a designated orbit and their access ways to orbit. The workshop will be held on the afternoon of February 3rd 2016 at the Fisher Institute for Air & Space Strategic Studies in the Israel Air Force Center in Herzliya, Israel.



SGAC members which are students studying for space related degrees in science and engineering as well as degrees which can concern space related issues (such as law, policy and international relations), as well as SGAC members working in the Israeli space industry and Israeli space related education, outreach and research organizations.

SGAC membership is free and available for any person aged 18-35 dealing with space related issues. To register as a member, please visit
