SGAC leaders Oscar Ojeda and Manfred Ehresmann are looking to recruit a group of 7 to 10 passionate volunteers to develop and implement a project about Mars exploration.
A digital Mars analog astronaut simulation is to be developed and implemented within this project. Such a simulation needs to include astronaut procedures to be followed, a communication team for control, the astronauts themselves, architecture of a Mars base as well as appropriate software and graphics for an effective and engaging simulation.
While they’re not looking for any specific technical background, skills to perform some of the aforementioned tasks are highly welcome. Additional qualifications are highly desirable.
The first phase of the project is planned to be implemented between August 2020 and February 2021, and require a dedication of 5 to 10 hours a week, including update meetings. Most, if not all, of the work will be performed remotely and in English language.
If you’re interested or have any questions, please send an email to [email protected] and [email protected]. Please attach your CV and a brief paragraph telling them about your interest in participating.
This call is open until 31 of July 2020 (11:59 GMT)!
