The North, Central America, and the Caribbean (NCAC) region is one of the most diverse regions of SGAC. Housing multiple large space agencies, a large number of private companies, and a growing number of space start-ups, the NCAC region leads an exciting arena for young professionals of the space industry to grow in their passion for space exploration. This diversity provides the members of the NCAC region a chance to collaborate with regional colleagues, spanning multiple backgrounds and stances, to tackle the current challenges of space exploration within the region. In addition, our region houses many universities that offer degrees in aerospace and related fields, providing a wealth of opportunities for careers in the space sector.
The NCAC region offers many opportunities for its members to get actively involved in SGAC activities. Every year, the NCAC region hosts multiple events every year (both in-person and virtual), allowing the next generation of space leaders multiple opportunities to learn and express their opinions regarding the future of space flight. The best way to learn about these opportunities is to sign up for emails from SGAC, the NCAC region, and your home country here.
If your country isn’t represented please contact either of the regional coordinators and we’ll help you get involved!
