Attention European and Canadian members that are interested in conducting specialist space research. For those that are unaware, ESA has a number of research opportunities that you and your research team can apply for. Most of these are for you to be able to gain access to specialist facilities that ESA have around the World (e.g. human centrifuges, Concordia station and other ground based research facilities).
In order to tailor your ESA research proposal to maximize your chances of successful application, ESA also has a research roadmap (5-10 are SMLS relevant), which details their research priorities for the foreseeable future. For those members that are not in a position yet to apply for these opportunities, it is still a useful resource for you to examine to get an idea what space research is happening now and in the foreseeable future.
