The Speakers :

Marco Marsh

Marco Marsh was born in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, in 1989 and spent 14 years growing up in Borneo. He joined the Space Generation Advisory Council in 2020 as a National Point of Contact for Malaysia while completing his Master of Space Studies at the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg. Before, ISU, he held professional roles with the Customer Solutions Engineering team at Intelsat and as a Spacecraft Controller for the Cluster II, Rosetta, and Mars Express missions at the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Marco finished an internship experience with the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and currently interns at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). Marco holds Master’s degrees in Electrical and Electronics and Integrated Aerospace Systems Design from the University of Bristol.

Brelveenraj Kaur Rajwant Singh

Brelveenraj graduated in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Defense Malaysia in 2018 before landing a job as a satellite controller in MEASAT Satellite Systems. She’s currently pursuing her Master’s in Aerospace Engineering in GNSS in Aviation while being the National Point of Contact for SGAC. Her passion for space education has lead her to talks and conferences for young professionals in Space both locally and internationally. She works closely with local space agencies, NGOs and space enthusiasts with regards to the space activities in Malaysia.

Lian Ming

Goh Lian Ming is a Satellite Systems Engineer at AAC ClydeSpace. His area of expertise includes Systems Engineering, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and the Assembly, Integration, and Verification of small satellites. He also has a wide interest in space such as human spaceflight, interplanetary exploration, space and orbital sustainability.

Lian Ming is passionate about space education technology and also actively participate in space cooperation and capacity-building initiatives. Prior to his career with ClydeSpace, Lian Ming graduated in 2020 with a Master in Spacecraft Engineering at the University of Southampton, UK and he is an alumnus of ISU and an active member of SGAC.

Julian Chee

Julian is a Malaysian student studying aerospace engineering at Wichita State University, Kansas. His primary interest is high powered rocketry and nanosatellite engineering. Throughout his college career, he has been active in engineering / design competitions, and university clubs such as the American Institute of Aero/Astronautics (AIAA) and the WSU rocketry team where they compete, organize workshops, and help students get acquainted to high powered rocketry via certification programs. Julian currently work as a student technician and assistant at GoCreate, an open maker space and workshop for members of the Wichita community to build their projects.

Sathesh Raj

Sathesh Raj

Trained as a journalist, and with a flair for media and communications, Sathesh has been involved and been dabbling between newsroom & classroom, media lab & science lab, and regional & international networks, since his rookie years in 2014. Currently completing his final year undergraduate studies in Biology and Physics, he’s looking forward to pursue Astrobiology postgraduate studies in the future. He is also an aspiring Starfleet officer for those familiar with the Star Trek universe. #WeAreStarfleet
