Roxy Williams is a software engineering student, president of the Society of Women in Space Exploration Costa Rica (SWISECR), former scholar of Grace Hopper Celebration, National Point of Contact for Nicaragua in Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) and General Coordinator for the SGAC Open Course Introduction to Space Engineering. She has been a delegate in many of the SGAC’s workshops contributing in different working groups such as NASA Planetary Defense, Deep Space Exploration and SmallSats Constellations in LEO. She also worked along with her crew to build a Moon hospital design using lava tubes. Roxy participated as a lead team in the CubeSat Design competition CUBEDESIGN organized by INPE- Institution of Space Research Brazil. In addition, she is driven by a passion for inclusion and diversity in the space industry.
