SGAC Canada
National Points of Contact Canada
Welcome to the Canadian page of the Space Generation Advisory Council! Our main objective is to foster an environment where Canadian students and young professionals can access and embrace opportunities, nurturing Canada’s next generation of space enthusiasts and innovators.
From Canadarm to the fine guidance sensors of the James Webb Telescope, and having a Canadian astronaut as part of the Artemis II mission, our nation has left its mark on the global stage. The Canadian space sector offers a variety of opportunities for students and professionals across diverse fields. Moreover, the cooperation agreement between Canada and the European Space Agency (ESA) opens doors for Canadians to actively participate in ESA activities. Our mission is to empower our members to seize these opportunities, contributing to Canada’s position in the space community
Our Activities in Canada and on the International Stage
The SGAC Canadian community is growing and becoming increasingly vibrant. We’re proud to engage with a diverse and enthusiastic group of members who are passionate about space exploration. Our community is actively involved in various initiatives, including hosting both formal and informal events, and engaging in online discussions on a wide range of space-related topics. Additionally, we proactively share space-related opportunities and events across Canada via Slack, ensuring our members stay connected and informed.
5th Edition of NCAC Space Generation Workshop

SGAC x SEDS-Canada Webinar Series
Each year, we host a webinar series in partnership with the Canadian Chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS – Canada). The concept involves inviting experts to share their insights with students and young professionals on various themes. The recordings are uploaded on YouTube for further reach.
