Results of Regional Coordinator Election in the South America Region
SGAC held elections in June 2023 to elect the next Regional Coordinator (RC) in the South America Region. We are happy to announce the re-election of Isi Casas del Valle P. (Chile) as the new Regional Coordinator for the South America Region.

The election received one application for one regional coordinator position.
4 votes were received in the election. The election concluded with the following result:
- Isi Casas del Valle P. (Chile) (4 votes – 100%)
Isi Casas del Valle P. is therefore declared the winner of the election for Regional Coordinator in the South America Region.

About Isi Casas del Valle P.
Isi is the first Chilean and one of the first South Americans to be awarded the Emerging Space Leader recognition by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). Additionally, she has been awarded the IAC Young Professionals Scholarship (2018) and Ray Williamson Future Fund Scholarship (2017), both by the Secure World Foundation; as well as multiple Highest Academic Achievement scholarship and recognition diplomas during her Law studies at Universidad de los Andes.
