Pre-SGC 2019 Optional Dinner

The attendance to this event is not mandatory and will be at your own expense as it is NOT included in SGC fee. We really encourage all delegates to join the pre-SGC 2019 dinner to get to know your fellow peers prior to the official kick-off of SGC 2019 on Thursday, 18th October. If you decide to join, then you should aim to arrive in Washington DC on Wednesday, 16th October.

Space Night
When: Thursday, 17th October – from 7 pm to 10 pm
Where: Union Stage, 740 Water St SW, Washington, DC 20024, US
The 2019 SGC Space Night will take place on Thursday 17th of October from 7 pm to 10 pm. The event will take place at the Union Stage on the Washington DC waterfront. The delegates will gather together for a reception followed by a dinner and lunar observations at the pier.
International Cultural Night
When: Friday, 18th October – from 8 pm to 11 pm
Where: Washington DC. The complete address will be disclosed later closer to the event
This night is an opportunity for the delegates to present their home countries and share cultural aspects like music, food, stories or other aspects of their culture with fellow delegates. All are welcome to wear a traditional outfit of their home place and delegates from the same country or region are encouraged to coordinate with each other to come up with ideas for the representation (through WhatsApp or other platforms). Light snacks and beverages will be provided by SGAC. Delegates are also encouraged to share a national dish, snacks, spirits or drinks with the group.

Space Generation Congress Closing Dinner
When: Saturday, 19th October – from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Where: Washington DC. The location address is included in the invite.
The 18th Space Generation Congress Closing Dinner will take place on Saturday, 19th of October at 6:30 pm. The event will take place in one of the facilities of the National Air and Space Museum. Attire for the Closing Dinner is formal attire or one’s country’s formal, traditional attire.
