SGAC Announces the Winner of the SGx2025 Northrop Grumman YP/Student Lightning Talk Scholarship

In partnership with Northrop Grumman, SGAC is pleased to announce Noor Haj-Tamim as the winner of the Northrop Grumman YP/Lightning Talk Scholarship! 
Noor will  attend the 10th SGx (March 10-11th, 2025) and SATELLITE conference (March 10-13th, 2025) in Washington D.C., USA. Congratulations!

NOOR HAJ-TAMIM

Noor Haj-Tamim is a Bioastronautics Researcher, Flight Engineer, and Executive Director of Jordan Student Space Outreach and Academic Relations (JSSOAR), where she leads initiatives to expand space and aviation opportunities for underserved communities in the Middle East. Under her leadership, JSSOAR launched Jordan’s first nationwide Cubes in Space program, enabling students to send experiments to space, and established the country’s first Women in Aviation International Chapter.
She is also the Founder and CEO of Avionova LLC, a medical technology startup developing wearable solutions for motion sickness and vertigo, designed for aviators and the general population. As a Bioastronautics Researcher with the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS), Noor has participated in spacesuit testing, microgravity research, upper-atmospheric studies, and bioastronautics experiments.
Passionate about equity in education, Noor is committed to creating inclusive STEM pathways that empower students to pursue careers in science and engineering without compromising their cultural identity.
