SGAC and the International Lunar Exploration Working Group (ILEWG) are looking for your ideas and visions for the future of lunar exploration. The ILEWG Scholarship – Young Lunar Explorer (YLE) recognizes young members of the space community who have been supporting the path to further lunar exploration with their scientific or technical contributions, and those with a vision on the future of the exploration of our closest celestial neighbour.
One of the goals of the Space Generation Congress (SGC) is to provide an opportunity for interaction between members of the space sector with diverse geographic and technical backgrounds. To enable those members of the SGAC community without sources of funding to attend the event, and recognize our active members, SGAC has been running the Space Generation Leadership Award (SGLA). The Space Generation Leadership Award facilitates the attendance of international delegates who bring unique and insightful firsthand perspectives to the Space Generation Congress. It selects top international applicants to attend the 19th Space Generation Congress (08 - 10 October, 2020) and the 71st International Astronautical Congress (IAC) (12 - 16 October, 2020) held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), the Future Space Leaders Foundation (FSLF), SATELLITE, organizers of the SGx2020, have joined forces with Space & Satellite Professionals Internationals (SSPI) and brought one person to attend the SGx2020 on March 9, providing complimentary entrance to SATELLITE on March 10 and an invitation to the SSPI Space & Satellite Hall of Fame Celebration at SATELLITE. SGx and SSPI activities during SATELLITE are hosted in Washington, DC, USA, on 9-10 March 2020.

The African Space Generation Workshop (AF-SGW) is a two day regional SGAC event that is held once a year in a different country in Africa. This year’s SGAC AF-SGW was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the aim of bringing together space experts and young Africans to exchange ideas about how to advance space activities on the continent.
The objective of the competition is to provide access to 10 students / young professionals from Africa to attend the IAA African Symposium on Small Satellites.
The Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee (EIC) of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in cooperation with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) introduces the $pace is Business Competition. This competition is an opportunity for students and young professionals to share their views and analysis on past, present and future of entrepreneurship and investment within the space sector. The winner of this paper competition will be invited to give a presentation about its paper at the IAF Business Innovation Symposium, it is designed to offer papers that observe, study, analyse, describe, and/or propose any topic related to space activities that have commercial objectives, whether from an academic and/or practitioner perspective.
