Black Voices for Space Scholarship 2020

Several private individuals in the space industry have offered to set up a scholarship to cover the registration fee for all Black, including African and Afro-descendant, students and young professionals attending the SpaceGen United.

Please note: To be considered for this scholarship you just need to apply to be a SpaceGen United Delegate. No other step is required. Deadline: Wednesday, June 17 2020, 23:59 UTC

Award

Awardees will receive free registration to the SpaceGen United (SGU) event in July 2020. 

How to Apply

  1. All potential scholarship recipients must have applied and have been accepted as SpaceGen United delegates. Check here to apply to be a SGU delegate.
  2. The scholarship is open to all students and young professionals that identify as Black, including African and Afro-descendant, from any UN Member or observer State.
  3. Participants must be SGAC members (registered on the SGAC website) between the age of 18 and 35 years as of July 26, 2020.

If selected as a SGU delegate, you will be notified via email to facilitate the scholarship.

Liability

  1. Organisers shall not be responsible in the event that SpaceGen United is cancelled. 
  2. The award is non-transferable and not valid for another event or individual.
