Black Voices for Space Scholarship 2020
Several private individuals in the space industry have offered to set up a scholarship to cover the registration fee for all Black, including African and Afro-descendant, students and young professionals attending the SpaceGen United.
Please note: To be considered for this scholarship you just need to apply to be a SpaceGen United Delegate. No other step is required. Deadline: Wednesday, June 17 2020, 23:59 UTC
Award
Awardees will receive free registration to the SpaceGen United (SGU) event in July 2020.
How to Apply
- All potential scholarship recipients must have applied and have been accepted as SpaceGen United delegates. Check here to apply to be a SGU delegate.
- The scholarship is open to all students and young professionals that identify as Black, including African and Afro-descendant, from any UN Member or observer State.
- Participants must be SGAC members (registered on the SGAC website) between the age of 18 and 35 years as of July 26, 2020.
If selected as a SGU delegate, you will be notified via email to facilitate the scholarship.

Liability
- Organisers shall not be responsible in the event that SpaceGen United is cancelled.
- The award is non-transferable and not valid for another event or individual.
