In accordance with previous editions, the programme will comprise speakers’ lectures, panels and workshops on different space topics. 

The content of the E-SGW 2020 programme is being developed together with the event sponsors around the event’s theme “Space for Earth and Humanity”. Concerns for our climate and environment have never been as pressing and current as now. We aspire to highlight and discuss sustainable solutions in this years edition of the E-SGW in how space applications can be used and/or developed not only to continue supporting our modern, digital and connected societies but also to help shape a modern clean and sustainable world.  The vast majority of today’s space applications are not developed for deep space exploration but for life here on Earth. It is 2020, a new decade is ahead of us, let’s take this to the next level and use space applications to ensure we can stay on this planet!

On Thursday 29th some visits to space facilities in the region are scheduled. In addition, a few social events will take place, such as the pre-workshop networking drinks (Thursday night), an informal international night (Friday night), and a formal Closing Dinner (Saturday night).
