The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is seeking motivated and dedicated volunteers to bring their talents and passion to the organization of Space Generation Brazil 2025 (SG [Brasil]) – Connecting the Space Youth.
This exciting one-day event will take place on June 5, 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil, during the renowned Space BR Show—the largest space event in Brazil. SG [Brasil] will bring together young enthusiasts, students, and industry leaders from Brazil and Latin America to explore and share fresh perspectives on space and science. Participants will engage with experts from academia, industry, and space agencies through panels, plenaries, and interactive discussions.

Open Positions:
Program Team (1 position)
The program team will be in charge of coordinating the event’s program.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the program and the topics for the event
- Selecting moderators, speakers and coordinating with them for invitations
- Writing related reports and documents
Estimated time commitment: 2-4 hours a week on average
Communications Team (1 position)
This team will support public relations and advertising activities pertaining to the event, working closely with the SGAC Public Relations (PR) the Event Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating media relations and advertising before, during and after the event.
- Coordinating social media communication.
- Coordinating with the Organizing Team and other organizations on promotion.
Estimated time commitment: 2-4 hours a week on average
Delegate Team (1 position)
This team will support Delegate related processes throughout the event including application, selection, communication before and after the event.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all contacts with delegates, pre and post-selection
- Supporting the selection of delegates
- Being the point of contact for delegates on issues/questions
- Creating a Delegates’ Database
Estimated time commitment: 2-4 hours a week on average
Necessary Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants shall possess the following qualifications:
- Be a registered SGAC member (Individuals can register for free on the SGAC Website).
- Be a citizen of a United Nations Member State.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old during the appointment.
- Serious interest in space-related activities, education, and professional development.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a high degree of self-organization.
- Global communicator: cross-cultural and communication awareness.
- Professional fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) in English and Portuguese.
