Global pandemic statement
The organising team puts your safety and well-being at the top of all priorities for this event, and we appreciate your efforts to make it to our event and comply with all rules to make it successful and safe for all, as specified in the COVID-19 Liability Release Waiver that you agree to by purchasing your ticket. We are constantly monitoring the situation in France and the French government’s response to it. The SGAC complies with all local regulations and restrictions for its events. Therefore, at SG[France]2021 you are required to wear a facial mask during the entire duration of the event and hand sanitising gel will be provided at your disposal. Furthermore, you will have to follow the social distancing rules on the premises of our venue. In particular, 1 meter distancing must be maintained during the whole event, and specific measures will be put in place to facilitate it.
It remains your responsibility to check that your travel situation is allowed between your country(ies) and France. Please, check your government’s websites and https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/ and contact authorities if needed.
If at any moment the event can no longer take place physically on 3rd of July, 2021 due to the global pandemic and restrictions related to it, we will inform you immediately of any contingency plans or your ticket reimbursement options. If either the French government or the venue provider imposes a cancellation of the physical event and if it leads to a total event cancellation you are eligible for a full ticket refund. Cancellation policy & ticket reimbursement
By purchasing the ticket you confirm your availability and physical presence at the event. It is therefore your responsibility to check the possibility of travel to Lille, France, see the important note above.
If your travel requires a visa and it is denied by the authorities you can request a full ticket refund (but we cannot refund your transportation ticket or accommodation expenses).
If the physical event will have to be cancelled due to the global pandemic-related restrictions from either the French government or the venue provider, [TBC], you are eligible for a full ticket refund. In case the event will change to online format due to COVID-19 you are eligible to request to purchase the ticket at a reduced cost. Effectively, you will be able to request a refund at the rate of 50% of the initial ticket price.
