What is New and Returning to SGx?

In addition to our traditional TEDx-style speaker series by experts, young professionals, and students, SGx2024 has introduced new programming to offer you more opportunities to interact, network, and engage with our sponsors and other attendees!

  • SGx2024 Workshop & Pitch Competition, Sponsored by Northrop Grumman:

Participate in the first-ever SGx Lunar Innovation Challenge Workshop and Pitch Competition! Have you been dreaming about life on the moon? Get ready to pitch your greatest ideas for our lunar future! During SGx2024, attendees will break out into groups to develop high-level project pitches on their ideas. The 3-minute live pitches will be scored on their creativity and delivery by an esteemed panel of judges. The winning team will have a chat with a Northrop Grumman executive, a chance to later pitch their idea to Open Lunar Foundation, plus a social media shoutout and special swag!

See the attached Workshop readahead materials, including the Lunar Innovation Challenge overview and pitch template.

  • SGx2024 Career Fair & Speed Networking:

Looking to find a new job, a new internship, or develop your career further? The SGx2024 Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for students, young professionals, and others who are interested in learning about new career opportunities to engage with leading companies and organizations. Company booths will be conveniently located along the perimeter of the SGx room; job and internship opportunities will be shared prior to the event.

Tied to the Career Fair, a special Speed Networking Session will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to gain invaluable career advice from leaders in the field and hear more about their personal space journeys.
