Yuri’s Night and Space Trivia – Nicaragua

Every year on or around April 12 the space community celebrates all that humanity brings with it as we explore the cosmos: music, art, science, culture, and each other! Space is used to bring the world together to empower the greatest parts of who we are, and give vision to where we are going.
For this activity along with NICAWoman Tech the team will be doing a Space Trivia for the first 30min and then they will stream the Yuri Gagarin story movie “Gagarin: First in Space”.

Roxy Williams is a computer engineering student, National Point of Contact for Nicaragua and General Coordinator for the Open Course Introduction to Space Engineering. Roxy has been a delegate in many of the SGAC’s workshops and in different working groups such as NASA Planetary Defense, Deep Space Exploration and SmallSats Constellations in LEO. She is driven by a passion for inclusion and diversity in the space industry.
