SGAC announces the winner of the UKSA Scholarship to attend SGC2021
SGAC has partnered with the UK Space Agency to bring one student or young professional to attend the 19th Space Generation Congress (October 21-23,2021)
Congratulations to Sarah Lappin!
Sarah recently graduated with a Bachelors in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. As a 2021 Brooke Owens Fellow, she is interning as a backend engineer intern at Loft Orbital in Toulouse, France. Previously, Sarah was awarded a Space Placement in Industry (SPIN) internship at the Earth observation company Pixalytics Ltd, where she later returned for another internship. At university, she sat on the Edinburgh University Women in STEM Committee, the final year as President of the society. Sarah is passionate about making space inclusive for all and continues to advocate for this through her role on the UKSEDS Diversity Team.
