Sarah Scheuring (Germany)

Sarah Scheuring is a young professional at Airbus (Tesat-Spacecom), working at the intersection of technology, innovation, and customer collaboration. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Digital Business Management through a dual study program, she is now deepening her expertise through a part-time Master’s at Reutlingen University, where she is writing her thesis on Explainable AI – building and analyzing machine learning models to drive transparency in complex systems.
Her passion for the space industry stems from a deep belief in its transformative power and its ability to shape the future. She is excited to be part of a field that combines cutting-edge technology with global collaboration and long-term vision – and is committed to helping drive that future forward. Alongside her academic and professional work, she has contributed to student-led initiatives and interdisciplinary innovation projects, including in the fields of AI, blockchain, and digital sustainability. Her curiosity is fueled by dialogue with likeminded peers, and she values opportunities to connect with others who share a drive for purpose, innovation, and meaningful progress. Outside the office, she’s an avid traveler and passionate hiker who enjoys exploring new places and perspectives.

“When I read the email, I couldn’t believe it – I was completely over the moon! Being selected is not just a huge honor, it’s a real boost of energy.
I can’t wait to exchange ideas, be inspired by others, and bring that momentum back into my work and the wider space community.”
