Application, Selection, and Registration Timeline

May 2nd – May 21st 2023 23:59 GMT. Applications are now open.
Early June. The SGC Organizing Team will inform you of the outcome of the selection process. If your application is successful, you will receive a confirmation email with more details on how to secure your ticket. If you are placed on the waiting list, you will receive a confirmation email with details on the next steps.
June 4th – July 5th. Early Bird tickets on sale. If you have been selected, your registration is complete and your spot confirmed once you have purchased your SGC ticket following the instructions in your confirmation email. If you do not register during this period you lose access to the Early Bird ticket prices.
July 6th – July 31st. Full-price Regular tickets on sale. If you have been selected, your registration is complete and your spot confirmed once you have purchased your SGC ticket following the instructions in your confirmation email. If you do not register during this period you may lose your spot at SGC to delegates on the waiting list.
After August 1st. The ticket sale will be opened to everyone on the waiting list (if not already sold out). Tickets will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please keep in mind that late applications and registrations will not be accepted.

Space Generation Congress ticket

The SGC ticket includes the following:

Not included in your ticket: 

  • Transportation to Milan and within Milan
  • Accommodation

  • Any other expenses not directly listed above

Important Remarks

Liability

The SGAC and/or SGC Organizers shall not be held liable for personal accidents, losses or damage to the private property of Space Generation Congress delegates.

Insurance

The SGAC and/or SGC Organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to Space Generation Congress delegates (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of the Space Generation Congress. Delegates and their accompanying guests are strongly advised to purchase adequate travel insurance for the duration of their travel, the Space Generation Congress and tours.

Visas

Delegates are responsible for checking and arranging visa requirements for travel to Milan, Italy. However, if required, the SGC Organizing Team can provide a letter of acceptance to support Visa Applications. This letter can be requested via email to [email protected].  

Registration Cancellation Policy

Refund of Registration (SGC Ticket) Fees will be made upon receipt of a written notification by email to [email protected] detailing the reason for cancellation. The following cancellation fees will apply:

  • Until September 10th, 2024: cancellation charge of $50 USD.
  • After September 10th, 2024: no refund will be given.

For registered participants who paid the registration (being an early bird or full registration) but are denied VISA, if a written proof of denial from the place of issue of the VISA is presented, SGAC will refund the full price of the registration.
