The Space Generation Congress (SGC) is an event held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) during the week before IAC.

Organized for over seventy-five years by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the event is hosted in a different country each year, in partnership with a local organizing body and centered around a distinct theme.

IAC 2026

The 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) is scheduled to be held in the vibrant city of Antalya, Türkiye, from 5–9 October 2026. This occasion represents a historic milestone, as it will be the first time the event is hosted in Türkiye. Renowned for its rich cultural legacy, welcoming atmosphere, stunning Mediterranean coastline, and growing innovation landscape, Antalya will provide an exceptional setting for one of the most prominent gatherings in the global space sector.

Organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), and co-hosted by the SAHA İstanbul Aerospace Cluster, IAC 2026 is intended to highlight Türkiye’s emerging role as an active contributor to the international space community. At a time when space technologies are increasingly vital for communication, security, sustainability, and climate resilience, the event will offer a significant platform for global stakeholders to coordinate their efforts.
