What is the SA-SGW 2026?

The South American Space Generation Workshop (SA-SGW) 2026 is an international event that aims to bring together students and young professionals to think and collectively create South America’s Future in Space.

The 10th Edition of the SA-SGW will be held between the 6th and 7th of April in Santiago, Chile; the official Young Professional and Student side event of FIDAE, the International Air and Space Fair— Latin America’s leading aerospace, defense, and space exhibition, bringing together global industry leaders, government stakeholders, and innovators from across the sector. This unique setting creates exceptional opportunities for visibility, networking, and cross-sector collaboration.

During the two-day workshop, over 100 students and young professionals (aged 18-35) from all over South America will be divided into 5 working groups to discuss a wide range of topics adjacent to the South American space industry with astrong social mission — “Space for All”. There will be the opportunity to present the results of these working groups at the annual meeting of UN COPUOS, or as articles and business innovations.

The Application Process

The application window is now open! Applications are available from February 6th to March 8th. Please make sure to submit your application within this period to be considered.

Accepted and waitlisted applicants will be notified via email after the review process concludes (please check your spam folder as well).

Registration will open in March for accepted delegates in order to confirm their spot.

If not all selected applicants accept their spot, remaining places will be announced and offered to candidates on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis.
