Working Group Potential Topics
Working Groups are at the core of the 8th SA-SGW. Thanks to our sponsors, we have put together a series of WGs covering a range of exciting topics that will allow fruitful discussions among delegates. Supported by Subject Matter Experts, these WGs will tackle some of the challenges (and opportunities) that the South-America space industry faces, and chart a new path forward.
WG1 – Space exploration
Unite the South American community through space exploration in analogous environments and through the development of tools that help us in the investigation and discovery of space.
WG2 – Space laws and rights
Integrate the region beyond the Latin American and Caribbean agency (Action agreements), a unified database with which information can be shared without restrictions through a legal environment that meets standards.
WG3 – Emerging countries, entrepreneurship and generation of proposals around SGAC in South America
The space as an investment opportunity for developing countries, employment generation and creation of links with developed countries.
WG4 – Space sustainability
Satellite applications for disaster mitigation, development of capabilities in launching objects into space for research and economic purposes.
WG5 – Communication and science education in the STEAM Fields
Creation of alternatives for the scientific dissemination of the aerospace sector in South America through SGAC, focusing on communities with difficult access to education.
