During this year, the Universidad de América hosts the 8th SA-SGW. The organization is facilitated by the wide availability of equipped facilities and large spaces, both indoors and outdoors. For the event it has 5 classrooms for the 5 topics of the workshop, an auditorium, common areas to eat, restaurants, cafeterias, several bathrooms and a beautiful view of the mountains. It is located in the historic center of Bogotá.
The Universidad de América is a private Colombian university located in the city of Bogotá. It was founded in 1956 by Jaime Posada Díaz as an architecture school, which became a multidisciplinary institution.

It is made up of three schools, which contain 8 academic departments, particularly known for their Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Petroleum Engineering programs.

Travelling around Bogotá

The easiest and most convenient way is to take a taxi, which can be found outside the arrivals area of the airport. It is recommended to use the official taxi service, as they are regulated and have fixed prices. Another option is to use ride-hailing apps, such as Uber or Cabify, which are widely available in the city. If you are on a budget, you can also take a bus from the airport to the city center. The TransMilenio bus system has a station at the airport, tickets can be purchased at the station and it is the cheapest way to get to the center (available from 5 am to 10 pm).
