The European Student Forum (ESF), aiming to gather students and young professionals who are working or would like to work in the space sector, is set to take place in Budapest, Hungary on the 14th of April, 2018.

The one-day regional event will bring together Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree candidates and young professionals to build network, exchange experiences, share ideas and plans on connecting to space-related activities, and their needs to aid their integration into the space sector.

Gathering around 50 delegates from universities all over Europe, the focal point of their exchanges will be to discuss relevance, challenges, and opportunities targeted to explore future European space-related activities; and to encourage and enhance cross-country cooperation in order to meet possible future colleagues and employers. The participants will work in working groups during the workshop and make recommendations that will help shape and provide insight into the future sources of the European space sector’s human power.

The event will be held in conjunction with 2nd Symposium on Space Educational Activities, organized by Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungarian Astronautical Society and ESA Education Office. (More information about that event on 11-13 April: http://ssasymposium.org)
