How to get there

Plane

We strongly recommend flying to Tenerife Norte Airport (TFN), also known as Los Rodeos Airport, because it is close to San Cristóbal de La Laguna, where the event will take place, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island.

If you fly from Madrid (MAD), there are 16 daily flights; if you fly from Barcelona (BCN), there are 6 daily flights.

International flights are mainly diverted to Tenerife South Airport (TFS), around two hours by bus from the capital.

Recommended Transportation

Car Renting

Renting a car is very affordable in Tenerife and gives you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. Public transportation exists, but it is not very convenient if you want to explore outside the capital. Because they are local from Tenerife, the best car rental companies are CICAR and Autoreisen.

Bus

Public transport in Tenerife is primarily available in the main cities, offering convenient connections between key areas. The bus service, Line 20 (TFN – La Laguna – Santa Cruz), provides direct routes from Tenerife North Airport to the city center. For further details, visit TITSA. Additionally, the tram line efficiently connects Santa Cruz and La Laguna. For schedules and stops, visit Metrotenerife.

Accomodation

Tenerife is an international tourist destination full of hotels, hostels, and apartments of all types and sizes, suitable for all budgets, from students to top professionals. We recommend being in Santa Cruz de Tenerife or La Laguna cities due to the distance and connectivity from and to the venue.

In addition to Airbnb or other popular apartment options, here are some alternatives that we recommend you check out for the event:
