SGAC is proud to announce that one outstanding SGAC member has been selected to win the International Lunar Exploration Working Group Award. The ILEWG Award will partially cover the expenses up to a maximum amount of 300 EUR incurred by the winner to attend the 18th Space Generation Congress (SGC) (October 17-19 2019) and the 70th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) (21 - 25 October 2019) held in Washington D.C., USA.
One of the main missions of SGAC is to facilitate access to the world’s major space conferences for young professionals and students. The Space Generation Leadership Award enables five outstanding SGAC members to attend the 18th Space Generation Congress and the 70th International Astronautical Congress in Washington DC, United States.

The Space Generation Congress (SGC) is SGAC’s annual meeting in support of the United Nations (UN) Programme on Space Applications. Top university students and young professionals with a passion for space will travel from all around the globe to attend three days of the 18th SGC. Up to 150 delegates will enjoy an inspiring and resourceful engagement with their peers at the congress, held in Washington, D.C., on 17 – 19 October, 2019 prior to the 70th International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
After the success of the 2018 Space Generation Congress (SGC) held in Bremen, Germany, SGAC is beginning preparations for SGC 2019. SGAC is looking for a highly motivated young space leader to join SGAC as the Congress Deputy Manager for next year's Space Generation Congress to be held in Washington D.C., United States.
