Pilar Guerrero Gallarín (22/08/1991) graduated from Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros of Seville as an Aeronautical engineer and from École Centrale Paris as Centrale’s engineer major in Mechanics, Aeronautics and Space in 2015.
The Space Generation Congress (SGC) is the annual meeting of the Space Generation Advisory Council held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress. More than a year before SGC begins, there are people volunteering countless hours during their early mornings, lunch breaks, and evenings to put together the experience that you, the delegates and partners, attend every fall.
Antonio Fowl Stark (KangSan Kim) is a South Korean international business developer and space policy analyst. He has worked for startup accelerators and venture capital firms such as 500 Startups and Softbank Ventures, focusing on implementing UN Sustainable Development Goals for corporations.
SGAC is pleased to announce Santiago Henn, Miguel Heredia, and Jimmy Gora as the winners of the South-America Space Leaders Award. The competition enables the outstanding SGAC members to attend the South American Space Generation Workshop (SA-SGW) will be held on 9-10th of November, 2018 in partnership with the XIII International Congress of Electronics, Control and Telecommunications in Bogotá. The SA-SGW 2018 is a two-day regional event for students and young professionals (aged 18-35 years) to discuss pertinent issues that the space industry in the South-America space region is facing.
SGAC is delighted and honoured to be awarded the IAF Excellence in 3G Diversity Award for 2018. The award is intended to recognize IAF member organisations (industry, government, academia) worldwide for outstanding contributions to the fostering of “3G” (Geography, Generation, Gender) Diversity within the space sector. It is an annual award presented at the IAC, but is given only when nominations of exceptional merit are received.
Through the partnership between SGAC and the CNES, this scholarship is available for students studying in France, or for students of French nationality regardless of the country where they study, to attend the 69th International Astronautical Congress (01 – 05 October 2018) in Bremen, Germany.
